Does anybody know of women scamming american men to come to the USA?

A russian woman contacted me on yahoo personals and we’ve been talking for about a month..didn’t take long she said she was falling for me and then asked for money to send her here to america to see me..I said no way i’ll send you money..but she keeps writing to me tho..for various reasons i think she is scamming me to come here or just take my money and run..anybody else here been dealing with such a thing also? and could you give me her name if so..been hearing alot lately about the scams from women in different countries doing this..thanks

The same thing happened to me. Fortunately I was smart enough not to send her any money. If she truly loved you than she would find a way to raise the money herself to come over here and not ask you for it. Do not believe anything that she says!! She does not love you or have any feelings for you whatsoever!! She just wants your money!! If I were you, I would not write to her anymore. If she keeps writing you than I would block her email address. That way you can be sure that she will leave you alone. You are being scammed, do not fall for her!! Remember the old saying, If it sounds too good to be true, than it probably is. Personally, I do not think that it is possible for someone to fall in love with someone so quickly without even meeting them in person. By the way, the name of the person who was trying to scam me was Anna, I don’t know her last name.
